Elliot Lodge, 18 years old motorcycle road racer from Birkenshaw. Elliot has been riding motorbikes since he was 8 years old and currently competes in the highly competitive British 125GP Championship, a support series to the main BSB Championship, for 2011 the British 125GP Championship will be fought over 12 rounds at the UK’s top racing venues, the series is very popular with spectators and all rounds will be broadcast live on British Eurosport with highlights shown the following week on ITV1 & ITV4.
Elliot began racing at the age of 8 on a Italian Pacini 50cc machine in Mini Moto’s, he took well to racing and after switching to a bike with a French BMS frame and a Italian Polini engine, he went on to win the 2005 British Mini Moto Championship at the age of 12, this lead to some racing in Europe before moving up to 72cc Jawa machine at the age of 13, this was unlike the Mini Moto as it was his first bike with gears, for the 2007 season he contested the EMRA 72cc National Championship on the Jawa finishing the Championship in 3rd place.
2008 saw a move up to the much faster 125cc class on a Honda RS125 and although he was now racing against adults and took well to the 125GP and during 2008 he managed to win the Auto 66 125cc Championship, 2009 saw more racing on the Honda with Auto 66 and EMRA and he fulfilled a lifelong dream by racing in a couple of the rounds of the British 125 Championship, regarded as a proving ground for the stars of tomorrow.
2010 was his first full season in the British 125GP Championship, finishing 10th in the Academy Cup for riders under 17, his highlights of the year was riding in front of 45,000 spectators at the final round of the season at Oulton Park, Cheshire.

2010 was a year of learning new circuits and testing new pieces of kit, preparing himself for a serious challenge on the 12 round full British 125GP Championship in 2011. MC Performance have come on board giving him a personal trainer providing a winter training programme to build up his stamina and all round fitness.
Elliot will be attending all 12 rounds of this years season, he races in the uk 125GP class which is a support race for BSB British super bike and always gets top TV coverage, he's just moved up from junior to over 17's and his devoted father has put a lot more money and effort into the bike for this season.
